Interactive Media

Using current computer animation software that reflects industry standards, students should produce projects for commercial application in one or more of the following areas: engineering, architectural design; marketing; video production; internet design; electronic gaming; and, education and training. This is a largely project based course. Dual college credits are not available for this program.

Course Description

Interactive Media prepares students for careers in business and industry working with interactive media products and services which includes the entertainment industries. This course emphasizes the development of digitally-generated or computer-enhanced products using multimedia technologies. Students will develop an understanding of professional business practices including the importance of ethics, communication skills, and knowledge of the “virtual workplace.”

Conditions

This one or two year program is open to sophomores, juniors or seniors.

Students may earn a maximum of six (6) high school credits per year. Dual Credits may be available
